The Marine Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association (MHFCA) e.V. to exhibit at the H2EXPO (22.-23.10.2008) in Hamburg

The Marine Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association (MHFCA) e.V. to exhibit at the H2EXPO (22.-23.10.2008) in Hamburg and take the opportunity to inform the visitors of the international conference about the possibilities which hydrogen and fuel cells can give to the marine sector like ships but also other equipment being used in marine applications. All members are asked to send their information brochures to Christian Machens.

During the event, on the 22nd of October, the MHFCA will hold its General Assembly for 2008. After another year of activities, the MHFCA will have to elect its board members and plan activities for 2009 including event & conference participation.

The MHFCA is invited to the "6th annual Green Ship Technology Conference" in Hamburg, 24/25 March 2009, to hold a speech on the future of Fuel Cells and Hydrogen in the marine sector. All members are asked to send their presentations to Christian Machens in order to have them presented on that occasion. Most of the MHFCA members are currently preparing or have already initiated a marine hydrogen project and it is expected that this new field of applications will be a mayor point of interest on the Green Ship Technology Conference.

The MHFCA attracts new members every month and is constantly growing. Many companies from the hydrogen and ship building sector are already members as well as individuals. The marine use of hydrogen and fuel cells is getting a growing interest from politicians, industry and research.
